America Hires Jobs Fair 11/22

If you or someone you know is looking for work, I want to let you know about The Hire America Jobs Fair on Tuesday the 22nd at ShoWare Center at 625 West James St, in Kent, from 10 to 3.

Congressman Dave Reichert (R-08) and Adam Smith (D-09) are hosting this bipartisan Jobs Fair. They have heard and understand the common request of local business leaders and job seekers alike: create an environment for economic growth and work across party lines to create jobs. Bringing local businesses and individual constituents together in one place is a great way to increase employment, improve the local economy, and gather feedback on how families are coping during these difficult economic times.

Be prepared to meet directly with employers. Have plenty of resumes! Over 50 employers will be there who are hiring in wide variety of fields and levels. Job Fairs provide the opportunity to connect face-to-face with recruiters who make hiring decisions and can help you network for other positions within a company.

The Confirmed Attending Businesses Are:
Aerotek, Allied Waste, American Seafoods Company, Applied Precision, ATT Wireless, Auburn Regional Medical Center, Auto-Chlor System, Boeing, Bonneville – KIRO/KTTH 770, City of Kent, Clover Park Technical College, Comcast, DeVry University, Eastern Washington University, Exotic Metals Forming Company, FastTrax, Genie Industries, Glacier Fish, Greyhound, Group Health Cooperative, Habitat for Humanity Helmets to Hardhats, Hire America’s Heroes, ITT Technical Institute - Seattle, Kelly Services, Kent Police Department, Kirkland Jail, Kismet Wholesale Fragrance, Lowe’s, Madden Industrial Service, Multicare, NAES, Operating Engineers Regional Training Program, Orion Industries, Port of Seattle, PROVAIL Fabrication Division, Puget Sound Energy, Puget Sound Electrical Apprenticeship, REI, Renton Technical College, Shining Ocean, Sound Transit, Society of Professional Engineering, Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), Starbucks, Technology Learning Group, Tully’s – Green Mountain Coffee, University of Washington, US Army Recruitment, VA Rehabilitation Services, Valley Cities Counseling & Consultation, Veteran Affairs, Vigor Industrial, WA State Troopers, WAANGJ9, Wal-Mart, Waste Management, Western Washington Masonry Trades, Work Source, and Workforce Development
