Greetings. This message is about two resource fairs next week for older adults, the National Senior Health Fair on Wednesday and the Southeast Seattle Resource Fair next Friday.
The National Senior Health Fair is an annual event, which brings together multiple senior health resources. They will have information booths from national health education and promotion organizations, and many free health screens by local providers, including osteoporosis, pulmonary function, balance, memory, blood pressure, back, foot and alignment screens. This health fair is part of a national movement to promote a healthy lifestyle for all seniors. You'll also enjoy fun, food, entertainment and prizes. The National Senior Health Fair is from 1 to 3 next Wednesday May 30th at Bayview Manor at 11 West Aloha Street, in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.
Southeast Seattle Resource Fair and Luncheon for people age 50 and over, will feature a host of agencies and businesses with displays, giveaways and lots of information. Doctors, retirement homes, energy assistance, employment opportunities, health care, insurance, banks and more … all in one place. A healthy free lunch will be served, and raffle drawings will be held throughout the day. The Resource fair is hosted by Seattle Parks and Recreation, Lifelong Recreation and Southeast Seattle Senior Center and is free for people over 50 including lunch.
