Job Opportunities this week

This message is about upcoming hiring events, employment opportunities, and job trainings in the area.

South Seattle Community College will be holding a 10 week Industrial Logistics Course through their Georgetown Campus. This is a free training program that prepares graduates in a variety of entry level jobs in the Logistics Industry. Those interested are required to attend an orientation.  Classes start on April 30th so be sure to register soon by contacting Jason Petrait at 206-934-6865 or Jason.petrait@seattlecolleges.edu.

There will be a Veterans Services and Employment Fair which will include veteran focused employers in areas such as manufacturing, aerospace, law enforcement, government service, and many more.  This will be held on April 22nd from 1pm to 4pm at the Federal Way Community Center which is located at 876 S 333rd St, Federal Way, 98003.  Pre-register for the event at veteransjobfair.eventbrite.com. Free trainings will be offered at South Seattle Community College in Medical Business Information Technology. This is an internship program that places workers in host agencies relevant to work experience that works hand in hand with its interns to achieve real results.
