YouthCare’s Barista Training andEducation Program is hiring young people who are in need of help with education
and employment. This program provides
job training and placement, life skills, employment counseling, classroom, and
on-the-job training for the food service industry. The program includes 8 weeks
of paid hands-on work experience, and one full year of support follow-up. To be eligible, candidates must be between
16-24 years old and homeless or in unstable housing. YouthCare holds open

in downtown Seattle. They are seeking

holding a class called “Online Job Search: Finding Jobs & Researching Employment
Opportunities”. Learn what the Internet can and cannot do for you in a job
search. Topics will include: submitting résumés online, completing web-based
job applications, and résumé-based websites such as Monster.com. You'll leave
this course with a comprehensive list of company websites with job listings in
the Puget Sound region. This event will be held on Wednesday, June 11th

WorkSource will be holding a workshop on
Explaining Your Criminal Background. In
this workshop, the presenter will discuss: interview skills; explaining a
conviction history in a professional environment; writing a Letter of
