ORCA LIFT enrollment and information event 3/6/15

This is a message about ORCA LIFT information and enrollment.

ORCA LIFT

King County Metro and Group Health have organized an ORCA LIFT card sign up event on Friday, March 6, 4:30-6pm at Group Health, 5316 Rainier Ave S. Seattle. English- and Spanish-speaking Public Health representatives will be available to answer questions and help low-income individuals get their ORCA LIFT card same-day. Must bring proof of income.

King County created the new ORCA LIFT reduced fare program to make public transportation more affordable for those who need it most. The ORCA LIFT fare can be used on Metro Transit buses, Sound Transit Link light rail, the Seattle Streetcar, King County Water Taxi and Kitsap Transit buses.

To qualify for the reduced fare program, a person’s household income must be no more than 200 percent of the federal poverty level as established by the U.S. Health and Human Services Department.
