Dental providers are accepting Washington Apple Health (ProviderOne / Medicaid) for Adults & Pregnant Women living in King County.
Healthy Options plans in King County include: Amerigroup, Coordinatedcare; Community Health Plans of Washington (CHPW); United Health; and Molina Health Care are for medical services. Dental are fee-based services and are covered under your ProviderOne Card (9-digits ending with WA). Washington Medicaid Program covers limited dental services for all adults Washington State residents with Washington Apple Health (ProviderOne / Medicaid) for clients 21 years of age and older. This includes people who already have Medicaid and people who are eligible for “Expanded Medicaid,” part of the Obamacare health care reform. Comprehensive services included for pregnant women plus 60-days postpartum women. For a dental emergency or dental pain with facial swelling and/or fever, you may obtain relief of these symptoms at any area hospital emergency room or community clinic walk-ins. Be sure to state "I'm in pain" when seeking emergency treatment. Medicaid / Medicare, sliding scale and reduced fees may be available. If a Medicaid provider is charging for services covered under Medicaid, you may call 1-800-562-3022 and register a complaint which will then go through the appropriate process for resolution.
