Getting Your License Back 7/30/15

Many jobs require a valid driver’s license so having it suspended can be a major barrier to finding steady employment. Thankfully, there are a few resources available to people who are looking for a way to get their driver’s license back.

Northwest Justice Project offers assistance for people who have had their license suspended due to unpaid traffic fines, suspension due to a car accident when you were uninsured or leftover fines from driving with a suspended license even though the suspension period is over. To find out if you qualify for this program, call their hotline at 1-888-201-1014 from 9:15am to 12:15pm.

LELO, Legacy of Equality, Leadership and Organizing, also offers assistance with getting your license back. If you have your license suspended in the third degree, they can help you make a plan to get it back. Email martha@lelo.org to set up an intake appointment.
