Riverstone Residential is pairing with Worksource Auburn
this Thursday, July 24th to host two hiring sessions. The first
session is from 1pm to 2:30pm and the second session is from 2:30-4pm. During each session you will have the
opportunity to meet with a Riverstone Residential recruiting manager about the
company, their opportunities, and their application process. Currently they are
hiring in both South King County and the Eastside for 10 Maintenance Techs, 5
Maintenance Supervisors, 5 Leasing Consultants, 4 Housekeepers, and 3 Porters/

Also this Thursday, Worksource Rainier is hosting a Goodwill Hiring Event from 10am to 1pm. They are hiring Sales Associates, Material
Handlers and a Retail Assistant Manager.
It is time for the Seattle Job Fair. Next Thursday, July
31st from 1pm to 4pm come to the Red Lion Hotel in Renton. There will be both small and
large companies as well as government and non-profit organizations in
attendance at the job fair. Over fifteen
local employers will be there including:
Verizon Wireless, Highline School District and many others representing
hundreds of Puget Sound area jobs. To

Seattle Goodwill now has open registration for their
Training and Education Classes through this Friday, July 25th for
classes starting August 11th. Classes being offered this term are
Basic Skills and GED preparation classes, Career Pathways, Computer Classes
(including Computer Basics, Keyboarding, Microsoft Excel 2010, Microsoft Word
2010 and Microsoft Outlook/ Powerpoint), English for Speakers of other
Languages, and Job Training Classes (including Retail and Customer Service,
Cashiering and Workplace 101/ Life Skills).

Also starting in August is the YWCA’s BankWorks teller training program, a free
eight-week teller training course, with job placement assistance and career
coaching. The Bellevue class begins August 18th and the Auburn class

"Youth at Work" Career Fair at the Rainier
Community Center is this Monday, July 28th from 2pm-5pm. The fair
includes a breakout session presented by Starbucks on “Customer Service”, and
“What employers are Looking for in Employees”, a breakout session presented by
Smart Talent on “Job Seeker Branding”, One-on-One Resume Review session with HR
professionals, and a Special appearance by City of Seattle Mayor Ed Murray. Over 30 Youth Programs and Employers will be
there hiring youth (16-24 year olds) for part-time, full-time, and seasonal job
