Get trained for your new "High Wage, High Growth" career at South Seattle College! Workshops are being offered from 5pm-7pm at  Seattle Public Library on August 5th and Rainier Public Library on August 7th.  These workshops will focus on short-term trainings and funding sources at South Seattle College. You will learn about current "High-Wage, High-Growth" careers and related trainings offered to help you reach your employment goals. They will focus on Medical Office Professions, Nursing professions, Industrial Manufacturing, Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Composites and Apprenticeship programs. Come meet local employers at the Boomers on the Move Job Fair (Age 50 +) next Thursday, August 7^th, from 10:30am-12:30pm. This fair is being hosted at Worksource North Seattle. Three pre-event drop-in workshops the week before the job fair include: Learn more about LinkedIn, Monday August 4^th from 10am-12pm; Help with Building an Effective Resume, Tuesday, August 5^th from 10am-11:30am; and Tips and Techniques for Surviving an Interview, Wednesday August 6^th from 10am-11:30am.
